February was Children’s Dental Health Month – a good time to reflect on what we’ve achieved thus far and to ponder on what we still need to achieve.
According to Dr Elias Berdouses, EAPD President, some of the important issues that need our attention will be addressed during the 16th Congress of the European Academy of Paediatric Dentistry. EAPD 2022 focuses on topics like dental trauma, behaviour management and critical information for the first 1000 days of life aiming to help professionals navigate through critical challenges while treating children.
Berdouses says that this year’s programme and presentations will shine more light on three important industry issues:
1. Digital dentistry for children
2. Modern restorative options in primary and permanent teeth
3. Fake science, publications and journals
