Dr. Rebecca Shreeve

Rebecca is an Executive Editor in the Medicine and Life Sciences team at Springer Nature. She oversees a portfolio of 45 Hybrid and Open Access academic journals including titles in the fields of dentistry, ENT, and ophthalmology. Rebecca completed a PhD at the University of Leeds UK, in 2015, before transitioning into a career in publishing. She has experience in establishing pre-publication checks to improve ethical integrity, and in supporting journals in managing their ethical pipeline. Rebecca has strong interests in supporting open science, and in increasing both reproducibility and transparency in research reporting.
