A: You should fill in the online booking services form available in the relevant section of the Congress website https://eapdcongress.com/registration-fees/, in order to complete your registration. Registration will open on 11 October 2023.
Q: How can I pay the registration fees?
A: You can pay by credit card or bank transfer until the deadline for pre-registration, i.e., 31 May 2024 at 23.59 CET).
From 1 June 2024 onwards, you can pay ONLY by credit card at the registration desk operating at the Congress venue throughout Congress days.
Q: Can I register for the EAPD 2024 without paying?
A: You can submit your registration for payment at a later stage by bank transfer, but in this case your registration fees will be subject to changes according to the respective deadlines.
Please note that for confirmation of your registration, full payment of the respective fee has to be made within the deadline for the respective fees period. For example, for confirmation of your registration under the early bird fee period, full payment has to be made and conveyed to the EAPD 2024 PCO until 29 March 2024 at 23.59 CET.
Once the deadline for a registration period has expired, all unpaid registrations will switch to the next registration fee category, and applicants will be notified of this change. With reference to the pre-registration deadline (and deadline for the regular fee), please keep in mind that payment can only be completed by credit card at the registration desk operating at the Congress venue throughout Congress days.
Q: Can I register before the early fee deadline and pay later participation?
A: In order to benefit from the early registration fee, full payment must have been completed within the deadline advised.
Q: What does my registration fee include?
A: For details on the entitlements of each registration category please visit the relevant section of the congress registration page.
Q: Will I receive a confirmation letter after I have finished registering?
A: Yes. A detailed confirmation letter and receipt – if payment has been completed- will be sent to you via email upon submission of your online services booking form.
Q: Can I receive an invoice under my sponsoring Company’s/ Institution’s name?
A: It is possible, as long as you select the option “I will need an invoice” upon completion of your online services booking form. At this point, you will also need to fill in the relevant billing details of the company/institution.
Q: Can I register during the congress dates?
A: After the expiration of the pre-registration deadline, you will be able to register only at the registration desk operating at the Congress venue throughout Congress days. However, ONLY payment by credit card will be accepted.
Pre-registration is highly recommended, to avoid overcrowding at the registration area.
Q: Can I make a name change to my registration?

Q: Can I cancel my registration for the congress?

Q: If I submit an abstract, do I have to attend the congress?
A: You only have to attend if you are the presenting author of an accepted abstract. Therefore, we encourage you to submit an abstract only if you intend to attend the congress and present it.

Q: How many abstracts can I submit?
A: Answers vary depending on your role in the abstract submission process.
- You can be the Presenter of only one (1) abstract.
- You can be the First author of only one (1) abstract.
- You can be the Co-author (and not the presenter/first author) of as many abstracts as you want.
Q: I have submitted an abstract, when will I know if it has been accepted?
A: Submitting authors will receive notification of their abstract’s evaluation results on 3 March 2024.
Q: How can I make changes to an abstract I have already submitted?
A: You can make changes to your abstract ONLY through the online submission form until 31 January 2024, at which time abstract submission will close.
Q: My abstract has been accepted, but I do not have a copy. Are you able to send me one?
A: You can view your abstract through the online platform you used for submission. The codes you created the first time you logged in remain the same, should you wish to check anything related with your abstract submission.
Q: Is there a specific template I have to use to submit my abstract?
A: No specific template is required to submit your abstract. Please visit the relevant section of the website and follow the instructions provided for abstract submission.
Q: How do I apply for a visa to come to Sweden?
A: Visa regulations vary, depending on your nationality and country of origin. We suggest that you contact your local Swedish Embassy or Consulate, in order to receive full and official instructions on the specific visa regulations and application procedures that apply in your case. Q: Where can I get an invitation letter so that I can apply for a visa?
A: In order to obtain a visa invitation letter, your registration fee must be fully paid.
You can request a visa invitation letter either by checking the appropriate box of the online services booking form or by e-mail at email@example.com
A personalized official invitation letter will be created and sent to you by e-mail within 10 working days.
Q: Is it possible that you send an official invitation letter directly to my local Swedish Consulate?
A: Unfortunately, we are not authorized to send invitation letters directly to Consulates. Invitation letters will be prepared for registered delegates upon request, and sent directly only to the applicants, as they contain personal information.
